SBDC:

Del Mar College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a service provider to small businesses in the Coastal Bend Region. The SBDC offers services in business consulting, hands-on training, and a resource library, while working to identify government contracts.

SBA:

The U.S. Small Business Administration aids, counsels, assists and protects the interest of small business SBA helps Americans start, build and grow businesses. Through an extensive network of field offices and partnerships with public and private organizations, SBA delivers its services to people throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the U. S. Virgin Islands and, Guam .

CCREDC:

Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation a non-profit organization, which promotes economic development through its business attraction, retention, and expansion programs. Their primary focus is in the following industry sectors:

  • Manufacturing/Fabrication

SCORE:

The Service Corps of Retried Executives is dedicated to guiding small business owners to success. There are more than 10,500 SCORE volunteers in 374 chapters operating in over 800 locations who assist small businesses with business counseling and training. SCORE also operates an active online counseling initiative.

PTAC:

The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is partially funded by the Department of Defense and is designed to increase the number and type of businesses selling products and services to government agencies. The PTAC can help any business interested in doing federal, state, or local government contracting through the following services:

  • Free Confidential Counseling
  • Federal, state and local registrations and certifications Plan Room with plans for area government projects
  • Website posting of Federal, state and local contracting opportunities
  • Access to bid packages, plans and specifications
  • Access to Dodge Reports for South Texas

  • Interpretation of bid documents, proposal assistance
  • Network opportunities with area governmental agencies
  • Seminar on a variety of procurement topics

TAMACC:

Texas Association of Mexican American Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that provides advocacy, technical support, programs, and services to local Hispanic chambers.

USHCC:

The US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce effectively communicates the needs and potential of Hispanic enterprise to the public and private sector in several ways including:

  • Implementing and strengthening national programs that assist the economic development of Hispanic firms;
  • Increasing business relationships and partnerships between the corporate sector and Hispanic-owned businesses;
  • Promoting international trade between Hispanic businesses in the United States and Latin America;
  • Monitoring legislation, policies and programs that affect the Hispanic business community; and Providing technical assistance to Hispanic business associations and entrepreneurs.
